Matte black coating will scratch over time to reveal the underlying 316L steel. We love the look, though, and think it brings a certain wear and aged effect to the chains, as they begin to look like blackened steel. pieces are strong, tarnish and oxidation free, hypoallergenic, and guarantee #NoGreenSkin, using only sustainable materials and eco-friendly, hazard-free processes.
